Our passion for incorporating herbs into our daily lives stems from my maternal St. Lucian grandmother, who kept our family and neighbors well with herbs and spices. I vividly recall harvesting and preparing leaves with my grandmother for her production of herbal tinctures, eye washes, cough syrups, s Alongside me is my son, who shares the same passion and belief that nature is an authentic medicine cabinet storing vital plant nutrients to aid our bodies. We love sharing these beautiful properties of plants. For this reason, we began Herbal Revelations. |
alves, and teas when I was only five years old. Broken bones and sprains posed no obstacle to my grandmother's ability. Under her watch with herbal care, our family experienced very few colds. I fondly remember when my grandmother assigned me the task of gathering and transforming hibiscus leaves into a shampoo to wash my hair. Of course, I challenged her every minute of the process, wanting her to understand that making shampoo from leaves was futile. To my amazement, the rich green leaves worked beautifully, allowing me to create my first herbal shampoo.
